Right,how to clear the reserve light switch on a b110 with a 5 speed g/box.
I got the gearbox in today but without the switch.
Also i will have to make a gearbox mount.

without modifying the gearbox body mounts (see below) you cant run a reverse switch.
you have to hack saw the back half off the switch & silicon it up, and refit it as far as
my experiences go anyway.

Nice and tidy way to do it, but quite permanent.

I've also heard of someone using a small holesaw to make the hole where it goes too. (Perhaps from inside the car?)
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

You could mount a switch inside the cabin on top of the tunnel and have the gear stick hit the switch when you put it in reverse.

That's what we did. With my 120y. Kind of like what you have on your bonnet when you have a car alarm.
