Further to our FB yarn the other day Richie,
I had a long yarn with Vaughan on the southern cruise. Reportedly post '74 Z's had blue Air cleaners the same colour as your single carb one. (Or at least that's what I think he said?)

Rad, I'll paint it blue to match :D The one I have right now is orange but that's no consequence.

Carbs will be some time off, will let the bank account recover from the manual conversion then I'll rebuild the Hitachi's properly.

If you check 240Z 260Z listings on tardme at the mo there is both and orange and a blue air cleaner box to get an idea of colour, not that you could be certain either are genuine or correct.

Depending on how haggard your air cleaner is, (The blue single carb one) you could cut and polish the inside of the lid where the weather has never got to. (That's how I did my colour match). Smash a bit of repo extra cut on it, and Bob's your mum's brother.

its not a muscle car simpson! You would have to raise it about 5 inches for those to fit.

Eagers were crap back in the day - let alone 20 years later (still same tyre)

What you really want is Cooper Cobras - still have white lettering and are ways better grip etc.

What am i saying    it needs low pros haha. you'll need an american/aussie 2.9 diff though lol
