:highfive: Great work mate.Could the noise be due to empty lifters etc?If you want to fill everything with oil before you start it again I have an old porta power I use to pump oil around my engine before I started it.Feel free to borrow it...

Yep defo no oil up top - the 120y used to do this for around 20-30 seconds until oil got up there - great going though

Thanks guys still over the moon about it. Just rewatched the video about 10 times so I could hear the sweet sound of CA. Also just to clarify we disconnected the ecu and removed coil packs and cranked it over a few times first. I would've been happy with just that because even just hearing it turn over was an achievement but actually hearing it run has made me so determined to get it finished!

Haha ahhhh I bought the engine 6 years ago unknown condition so have no idea....

Have you been turning it over regularly before hand, and did you wind it over before starting to get oil pressure up?

I did not.... only just put oil in it on Sunday, hope I haven't done too much damage :-?
