I thought plastic too ?? never had a glass dash. Mazda did.

The coupe dash's have glass lenses (about 90mm diameter) between the plastic bezel cover front & the gauge cluster behind, on the speedo, and the driver gauges/lamps position. the tacho has plastic between.
