hey guys i need some knowledge as ive just found a sunny wagon b310 with a15 in it have been told it used to have extractors and dellortoes on it but they were sold off a couple years ago and i need to drive it home and apparently all it needs to get it running again is an intake/carb and exhaust now my question is will an a12 intake/carb and exhaust bolt on to get it running and drive home. as ive got another b310 sedan i could pull the bits off to put on the wagon and get it home,my other option i guess is to chuck the whole a12 head on it manifols and all.
sorry if this is the wrong place to post wasnt sure thanks heaps for any help.

Re: a12 parts on a15 help needed
A15's have oval port heads so your manifolds will be different, as A12 are round ports.
also you may find they use different manifold stud positions too perhaps, and also the
carbs are bigger I think, a standard A12 would struggle to feed an A15 I would think.
Obviously the complete exhaust system may be different on the wagon, if it was fitted
to flows. and I am not 100% sure but don't the sedans & wagons have different rear
ends hence exhaust systems may be different at the back?
If it has been parked up for a while, it is pretty risky thinking you can just throw this
stuff at it, and be happily and safely driving down the road soon after I would think?
Surely the best option is to trailer it back to yours, see what you have got, fit up the
parts properly & check things out thoroughly, and get it all legit & running before you
throw it on the road again? if its been sitting for a while, you may have brakes that
have seized or need bled, or you may have wheel bearings or steering components
that need attention.
