This has a std A12 with 40s on it Still slow but has no rust in it bar the patches in photo's. Few pictures from racing it at Taupo

I ve seen your car down Newton st a few times. Its all std running gear in this car. once rally car done i'll start on this one. Talking to my uncle on weekend he used to rally a SSS 1200 in late 70's and got 147 hp out of a A12. So not to sure to do up the A12 in this or A15 sitting in shed

What did he do to the old A12 to get that horsepower? I'd just like 125 would be sweet!!!

Looking @ the centre console, steering wheel, passenger seat & delux emblems on C pillars, am I correct in assuming it is a SSS? or has it just got some lovely accessories?...

Yep it was f n slow but managed to spin out a few times and drift 1 corner by accident at 130kms but was shit load of fun. Shes all sss but steering wheel is 120y sss. if you know any one got a 1200sss steering wheel i'd be keen. Talking to my dad and uncle, back in the day when they ralled 1200's they were a weak steering wheel and snapped or bent when they crashed them back then. Being thinking about rebuilding this car but probably next year once Rally car is built and going. I'm wanting to import a B110 from usa as well just so I have a 2 door B110 left hand drive in me shed.
