surge tank capacity

Hi guys does anyone know if there is a formula that can be applied when working out a surge tank size? I suspect injector size and flow will have some bearing on things

That's a tricky one injector size x number of injectors might be a good start? That would give you a full minutes worth of fuel if you were running them at 100% duty cycle, but in reality it wouldn't need to be that big.

just whatever is a good size to fit your space really. its just a road car so i doubt you will ever drain one even if it was only a little one. I like djz idea of injector size to work it out. if you had something around 1-1.5 litres you would be sweet. but if it came out smaller due to space it'll still be . its just a little a series turbo road car

Thanks guys, I thought as much, I don't think size will be an issue, so ill go with injector size x4
