Ski fields queenstown
Anyone know much about them. On way to queenstown now for a week of snowboarding and just want to know which one is best if anyone here goes
Re: Ski fields queenstown
Depends how shit your are.
If you haven't done it before or are useless, Id suggest coronet peak (plus its the closest to queenstown) or Cardrona (further away).
If you know what you are doing then go Remarkables or Trebble Cone (furthest away)

When I was last down there. Cardrona was the best then the remarkables. Coronet peak was still pretty good but was always the busiest due to being the closest to Queenstown. If you can squeeze in all 3! I did also here that snow farm is also really good!

Snow farm is no longer as it is now leased or sold to a vehicle testing company.
Coronet is a good field, very good.
Never skied Remarkables.
Cardrona is a great field and my pick. We take the kids there once a year for a long weekend. It is a snowboarders paradise with an Olympic half pipe, huge platform jumps and a snow cross track.

Ahhh fuck. I know your pain (almost literally). I have had 4 knee ops covering both knees all starting from what just happened to you. Never recovered.Rusty wrote:Did cadrona dislocated my knee and tore ligaments didn't know their was a rivalry between skiers and snowboarders last night in queenstown so having a big one!
