Datsun 180b Seatbelt length

Hello,

new member. I have always been interested in Datsuns and used to lurk here years ago, but have recently resparked my interest.

I am interested in purchasing a 180b, but I have one concern. I am a pretty big chap, 6’5” and.....husky.....(fat). My brother in law has a SSS that I have trouble fitting the seatbelt around me. Infact I don’t think it fits if all, its been a while though. problem is, i would have to travel to purchase the car, and dont really want to waste my/his time by not even being able to drive the damn thing!
So my question is : how large is the 180b, its a 75, pretty much stock from what I can tell, and has anyone had any experience fitting aftermarket seatbelts / seatbelt extenders in a 180?
I have no problem at all with modern cars, and have owned a ford laser from the 80s, and a mazda 323 from the 80s without any issue at all, along with my current skyline and....well.....every other car ever, but just that damn datsun.!

Any help would be appreciated.

U shouldnt have any major issues with fitting larger aftermarket belts. Get a mobile fitter to look into it
