WTB A15 distributor

Hi
The vacuum advance on my a15 distributor decided to pack up so am after a distributor have been looking for an electronic one but cant seem to find any

Can't you buy kits on trade me for $100?
That is if it would still work with yours now??
There was a A14 1 on there last week too.

The kits dont include the vacuum advance. Will an a14 one be the same

I dont think the electronic ignition kits will help you as they still rely on vacuum advance.

Vacuum advance unit is easy to swap, so any A series would possibly fix your's, then electronic internals and away you go, although I question the advantage of electronic, I fitted points to my daily 5 years ago, it runs sweet still, no adjustments to date, and starts with just a flick of the key. Points set up well with a dwell gauge and with a good condenser are reliable and easily serviced if anything should ever go wrong.
