Wanted: Front Valance for Datsun 1600

Post by DAT-SIK »

Sup fellow Datsun enthusiasts
Just wondering if anyone would have a spare Front Valance for a Datsun 1600 that they might be willing to part out of?

Really struggling to find one anywhere.

Happy to pay $ :)

Yep you'll struggle with one of those.

You could bring a fibreglass one in from the states

I've got one but it needs some work but it's in reasonable condition generally.
$50.00 plus freight.

Anyone brought one in from the states? frieght? Less than $500 delivered?

Mine is in pretty average condition , made it out of two actually might just be easier to start with a glass one.

I'm not really too fussed on the condition. - I have a good friend who is a panel-beater, and i will probably get him to straighten it out and give it a coat of paint anyway.
I will also probably have to modify it slightly to fit around the intercooler piping. - No Major if the condition is average.

I don't suppose you could post up a photo of it? - If it's too much trouble don't worry.
I just don't wanna spend $500 on a hunk of fibreglass that im probably going to have to cut, paint and modify anyway.

;)

I will try to get a photo later this morning. Your panel beater friend should come in handy though. All Datsun people should have one........
