had a bit of a break from manifolds today, you can only do the same thing for so long ( 3 weekend in a row on the manifolds)

So i got a bit more of inter cooler done. As usual nothing fits and everything has to be millimeter perfect or it wont fit at all.

First issue was this twisted pos had to go.

But my spare bumper was from a model that used bumper shocks, so a lot of careful use of a cutoff wheel had to take place to convert it from bumper shock to a normal bumper bracket. Once i got that done i also had to trim the bumper brackets slightly to clear the inter cooler. I'm not very happy with the general flimsiness of the brackets so i will gusset and box them up a bit better. They will be much better than factory.

I know its a second time doing an IC setup. Its quite nice to do a proper job with some cash behind it. Unlike the last one which was only there to get me through a cert.

Just a side query. Did changing the afm to a blow through setup make a difference? Obviously it gives a true temp and air flow flow reading.

Yea blow through is the way to go.

when in boost it behaves the same, but when off boost it runs a lot crisper. Moving the filter to the turbo inlet also removed a piping headache.
