Exhaust options?? A15

Post by 1200 Koozer »

Hey guys im sure some of you have gone through this process before soo im interested in finding out what runs best. Ive got a slightly worked A15 ready to be dropped in and wondering what size pipe i should run from my extractors and also what mufflers i should go for.
What configurations are you guys running??
Cheers

Check out my build thread HERE. I'm running 2 inches from the headers connected to a mildly worked A15, and I reckon it sounds just right (not too quiet, not too loud). She really purrs in third @ ~50 km/h or fourth @ ~70 km/h. Didn't go with a muffler, simply a resonator and an understated exhaust tip.

A couple of quick exhaust noise clips can be viewed HERE and HERE, with a first run video after completing my engine upgrade/rebuild available HERE. Any questions/queries, send us a PM :)

Regards,

Nick/Braasy
