brake upgrade on 1200

Post by MADBUZ »

Hi all looking at a little more stopping power in my 1200 ute. Currently runs a coupe setup but looking for a little more. Only problem I have is 13x7 wheels and really the size will never change. Is there a bolt on rotor that is vented or something. Any help would be massive. Cheers

Bigger upgrades for 1200.you will need to change to 14 or bigger rims including s13.Some 13 inch rims could fit.

I have lots of people hounding me for caliper brackets. I've got 5 sets ready to be drilled. But no time to drill them. It's a pity.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

All good thanks guys. I have a bit look into, but if I can't make something work ill just bang some new rotors and pads in there and just deal with it I guess. Just can't bring myself to go bigger than 13's.

I used to run 910 bluebird front legs and brakes in my old 1200 wagon, can't remember the size of the 910 discs but they are vented and would pull the wag up all day err day.. Plus they fit within my 13x7's...

Maybe worth a look into
