Can I join with my 810SSS Coupe?

Hi All. Newby John here. I scored this SSS Coupe about a year ago and finally started to get some work done on it. It's a 1979 model with 208000Kms on the clock. Twin carb L18 and 5 speed. I'm in the process of removing the engine in order to fit a new clutch. This car has sat in a barn since 2000 and the clutch has frozen solid. Apart from a few dents here and there and a rusty rear panel, the car is in pretty good nick. I'm starting the repair process from the front and will work my way to the rear. Hopefully by then I have found a suitable rear panel from a 200b sedan. (Shout out if you have one or know of one). Back in the day when I wore a younger man's clothes I had a 610 sedan as well as a 310 sunny.

Perhaps someone can give me an indication of what this car is worth. I've never seen this model before and it was brought in by Datsun/Nissan NZ in 1979 and sold through their dealer network. I have been given the original ownership papers too. Any clues on history etc will be most appreciated.

welcome to the club bro.
yes its a rare model in NZ and it came here by mistake.it was heading too south africa and i dont know what happen later on.
theres still few around.rob from taupo still has one,i had one in auck and i sold it in 2011 to buy me a zed car,had no choice.
keep us posted of your buildup.

Finally getting a bit more serious about putting this together again. The clutch master and slave cylinders replaced with new ones.

Replacing the rear panel with clean sheet metal now. Looking so much better already. I aim to have it on the road before winter.

Same body as mine but quite differently upgraded.
