I carded a minty green white 1200 sedan this week.
And I'm currently watching the Dave Grohl doco bout sound city. spotted a 1200 two door sedan in the car park in a vintage pic of the place.

I'm a Back to the Future fan. Embarrassed to say that all this time I didn't notice a Z, 1200 coupe, and I think a 120Y in the first installment... Crazy!

Even without a datto is was pretty amazing.
I actually draw parallels between the Neve sound desk, and old cars. I think Dave's affinity for that desk, is in a large part tied to the feelings he associates to the times spent around it. Kinda like driving old cars, because of the good times they remind us of. The way he decries digital recording, and the way we decry real new cars as having no soul/needing no skills to drive hard.

Very nice. I spotted a Black 310 with Black vinyl roof, being driven like it was stolen, or like a Datsun down Woolston way yesterday lunch time. Looked good, 3 young guys in it. I think it had a Uugah horn

In the past week I have spotted a few Datsuns out and about. A white Kingcab 720, well side. And a white 1600 510, survivor, I think this is the one I spotted a year or so back over in Ilam.
