A15 crossmember for my a15 conversion still looking for one in NZ. If not Im looking at supplying through maddat what is it like to deal through them any advice

think Braasy just got a large consignment from maddat, but I am sure others have purchased very cool very expensive parts previously off them

I dealt with Scott @ Mad Dat Motorsport recently and he was great! Good communication and prompt delivery, plus easy to deal with. Keep in mind you will need to consider tax, customs fees and additional taxes, but there should be no custom duty costs since your parts are/will be brand new (there are online calculators to give you a bit of an idea on what to expect). Important to also note on the invoice attached to your purchase that the items are for personal use and brand new (to save on being stung customs duty and broker fees/having to go through a broker etc). You could ask Mad Dat to understate the delivery costs on the invoice to reduce your customs costs, however, do so at your own risk as it is somewhat 'illegal'. As there is a tax agreement between OZ and NZ, you thankfully wont get charged double tax. This also means the part price(s) will be in OZ dollars, but should be less the tax component (don't quote me haha).

also note, that when buying new parts out of Oz, you can theoretically (and I have successfully) requested the vendor to drop the gst component as it is new part for export. I did this with my coilover kit, which essentially covered my freight costs for free! :mrgreen:

I think I said something to that affect :P For my recent purchases, all prices were less OZ tax from the get go :D
