WTB: Oldschool car - Auckland - Waikato

Hey guys,

This might be a long shot but I'm after a daily oldschool car with no structural rust. Something running with wof and rego yet having potential for a restoration in the future. Preferably not a rust bucket haha I've been a member here for quite a long time now but I had to start a new account due to me forgetting my username and password. I thought it would be much easier and quicker to make a new one. I have ownerd 3 Aw11s, 280zx, a mitsubishi mirage 1981 and a gx71 hardtop lowered on SSR mesh. i've got an x100 project car hence looking for a nice daily to do up.
Im interested in x chassis from x3-x8, oldschool corona, s13, mazda 929 wagon or oldschool nissan. now that uni has finished, I've got time to work on it.
Must be manual. stock car is fine. niceish interior (complete). descent kms??? most cars on trademe are a little bit overpriced for me so I thought, why not try it here since I got the hardtop for 1k haha.
my budget is $2000 - $2500.

willing to ship from welly or south island as long as it meets the price hahaha

Hey dude, You might have to except something that doesn't quite fit your "wants" list with a budget of $2k... example of the 1981 datsun sunny on trade me for $2k start price, in Hamilton, down sides...it's auto and colour has been changed to orange/red not including engine bay. The flip side is my one I brought, very tidy with a 5speed and some good upgrades around $4k along with a datsun 1200 rally car I also viewed for $4k. Trade me cars are over priced in general but usually the high priced stuff won't sell and the classic 80s cars aren't getting any cheaper, if we could find the type of cars your wanting for $2k everyone would snap them up I'd say.
