Have been slowly chipping away at this, have cut spring perches of and dummied everything up. Settled on VW golf inserts, grabbing them on Saturday then will cut strut tubes down to suit. still some trial and error ahead t get the right height but Im getting there.

Also big thanks to Mitch/dat180 I now have an A15 and a 5speed sitting at the freight depot waiting for me to pick it up. Exciting!

just need to get a new clutch and shifter bushes for the gbox then its good to go. Cant find hard and fast info on engine mountss etc so no too sure what to expect when I drop it in. Havnt compared them against the a12 ones yet though.

Have front stuts all ready to chop up, will try get done this weekend then its time for slam!

Will then see how much I need taken out of the rear and then do motor, box and suspension all in one go. Exciting times ahead.

Use the mounts off your old A12. Brackets and all. That's what I did in the past when fitting A14's to B310's.

Still working away slowly. Got a new clutch kit a release bearing on its way. Also need to get flywheel skimmed.

Had a good day at pickapart, got a c20 (vanette) radiator, not 100% on condition but the water that came out was green and no obviuos leaks so a good start. Also pilaged some bolts and hoses that Im missing from my a15.

I was thinking about that today actually. I think ill just stick with the factory setup for now and see how things go. No big deal do whip things off again down the track to do the mods if need be.
