I've been deleting threads most of today if I had the powers to delete and ban users I would! They just keep popping up!

Can we make it that to post you first have to post in the introduce yourself forum, if it is a Machine this may foil them.
Also on facebook everyone has to be approved. On other forums you have to put in a code do we have any of these measures or can they be easily installed?

There are about 3 pages of new users that are spam, can we stop new users all together?

I am unsure if i have done the right thing but have deleted 3 pages of spammer logins and activated the anti bot question - I hope, this can be turned off again, but may stop this infestation if it is a machine.

Seem to have stemmed the flow 
Had to delete pages of users that had been set up, but seem to have stopped them registering for now.
No one deleted any spam today?
