140j datsun build

Post by skidboy »

hey people, thought i would let you all know what has been going on with my 140J.

below is a list of everything ive done so far and what is left to do. also put in a few pics.

Purchased the car all standard and drove for about 2 weeks before the build started.
pulled the motor and box out, purchased a SR20DE loom and computer to be fitted. also got a det gear box with new light flywheel and h/d clucth kit.

fitted motor, box and also welded up the holes in the bay, then removed all and the suspension etc to paint the bay. paint all parts and fitted all new bushes etc when bolting everything together. fitted custom made adjustables on the front with new shocks and top camber plates. rear has had all new bushes and re set leaves. now sitting nicley on 15x9 wheels.

still need to finnish the surge tank set up and 500HP fuel pump etc. then just wire her up and she will be back on the road. interior is still all orginal and in good nic so will leave that all for now

will get the car painted same as the bay and will add a red pin strip and red wall the tyres
