So I have r31 struts and brakes with 89mm mount.
The flat mounton my 15 inch star sharks hit the brake callipers.
What are my options to replace the callipers with a lower front facing profile that will mount on these shocks?

Re: Alternative brakes with 89mm mount
Thanks Adam. They certainly look like they stick out less than my clunkers!
Check out the surface rust on these bitches. Shows how long it has been since they have seen some use. Had them machined 3 years ago now!

Re: Alternative brakes with 89mm mount
Datsunboy was able to find some rotors with an unusually tall hat for spoke clearance. But other than that his setup is totally different.
The Answer to your Question is NEEDS MORE VG30
Re: Alternative brakes with 89mm mount
Yeah yours are r31 front struts/brakes
Where as torqued (adams?) are a volvo disc? with a mazda caliper and a b310 style hub..
Mine are same setup as adams but with gtst calipers and discs, I snuck a 5mm spacer between the hub and the brake disc, all on the r31 strut...just means that you need to make some brackets to mount the calipers.

Lemme know Ging dude if you need anymore details. I gotta get them sitting slightly more flush so going to revisit the bracket shortly

Re: Alternative brakes with 89mm mount
Whoops 910 hubs
When I looked into going rx7 calipers, I looked into the disc sizes and found apart for the obvious fd3s and fc3s disc there was others the same width
E30 BMW+ a couple of others, Volvo 740?? turbo I think and some honda prelude form memory all with various different disc heights.
If anyone has some 910 hubs they want to sell I'm on the lookout for another pair
