WANTED! Datsun 1600, or pre 1976 1200 (B110)

Hi there, I'm keen on getting into datsuns, Ive bought myself an A15 and am currently reconditioning and hotting it up. But I need a shell to put it into. Contact me with any info,

You wont want to put an a series into a 1600 ;)

nah, put it into a smaller datsun to really enjoy it. Plus the 510 chassis can handle much more power than a a15 could ever produce.... but hey your call i'd be interested to see it happen, but i have a feeling you will get talked out of it. Your better off putting a turbo onto an L series which comes in a 1600 standard.. :burnout:

Personally i reckon go for a 1200 if you have an a15 especially with it hotted up will go good! :)

^that plus everything Dylphil said and the fact it will bolt directly in (where as it won't in a 1600).

What's your budget man? What style are you after coupe sedan ute etc? What do yo want to use the car for? How long are you prepared to have it off the road, there are a few questions that you need to ask yourself, if you are absolutely in love with a 1600 or a 180b coupe then you've got the wrong engine for one of those cars. The cars the a series go into are the b110 b210 and b310 (rwd) if you don't recognize those numbers google them and you'll recognize the car.
