yeah I am fizzing, still a lot of tuning to sort out, but definitely heading in right direction finally.
Off to see my mortgage broker tomorrow, to finance my paint job
My (meant to be) fresh motor is smokey as, so hope that I don't have a mechanical issue that involves me having to pull out and strip down
It is definitely snappy in the throttle even in untuned state:

After that vid, I think you may get a few people on the ITB bandwagon haha. Love that A series engine sound...Kitch wrote:yeah I am fizzing, still a lot of tuning to sort out, but definitely heading in right direction finally.

Yeah its so easy..........
Custom ITB's and EFI are the way to go, if you want to lose 5K, 5 years & 50% of your hair......

My advise based on that video is,
Check your factory tacho against a known to be accurate one. I didn't improve my first supercharged A series motor, due to an inaccurate tacho. (Screwed 8K from it many times. Then fitted a shift light and found that 6200 on the tacho was actually 7500)

They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

cheers Bart; it seems near identical to laptop reading so thats good.
does over shoot a little. but hey I have rev limiter thanks to the ECU ,
I am also going to fit a wee shift light, to cover where choke knob was
in the long term.
