Im checking my head and block for flatness what thickness feeler gauge is the minimum to check with
Also should I use a gasket spry on the headgasket any secrets for best outcome
And what tourqe setting do I use on the intake and exhaust manifold

I'm pretty sure that .004 inches is the max allowed warp limit. (I might be mistaken though)
And I wouldn't use any spray on a head gasket. I just run Permaseal head gaskets from BNT on my blown A15, and they work well. (I've head aussie guys dis the montorque ones like repco sell)
So long as you use spring washers, tight but not too tight is how tight I do up my manifold bolts.

Tourqe 9/11 ft-lb flat washers spring washers don't like the heat that much.
