whats the diffrence

just wondering between the 60a and 56a 5 speed ive just put the 60a in my 120y obviously its a dogleg box but was wondering if they were diffrent in any other way?

i believe the 56 and 60 is the width of the gears in mm. I could have that COMPLETELY wrong but i'm sure bart will chime in soon.
Anywho the 60 is stronger than the 56 is what I was getting at

close, its the difference between the top and bottom shafts in the box, the further apart the bigger the gears.. correct bart??

Thats what someone told me. (I believe it was NZdatman, aka Morgan or Damon?) I used to think it was the diameter of the shafts, lol. But Morgan put me straight.

well thats a positive result then. now if i can only get used to reversing being where first used to be. im sure im going to back into somebody at the lights.
