Re: Naki's 1200 Sedan
Made it all myself mate as there was not anything quite what I wanted on the market. its set up as a drop in unit so I can change it back to standard easly as when it comes time to cert it I want to do it all oncebuzzy wrote:looking good! Where did you get the coil over setup from?
Something happened to my photos but these may give you an idea. There is a pipe collar that slips over the strut tube with a 45deg angle machined in the bottom that sits at the base of the spring seat (i intend to weld this in later) the coil over unit sits on top of this, then I had some new alloy top spring hats mad up to suit the new springs and the old bearing and top mounting hats.
While doing it all and the brakes I made two of everything so it could be reproduced. probably not the cheapest option but works very well. my next mission is to make up some adjustable camber tops.

Re: Naki's 1200 Sedan
Bit of an update
Not a lot happening but collecting a few bit and pieces New Caster Plates going to pick up the bearings today then finishing the machining and should be sweet Shes been for the odd spin Paint should be hard enough now for a good polish, don't mind the Homo pipe it will be removed and replaced with the new engine, custom extractors and exhaust. Been looking at fuel injection, started with a simple look at a Ford EDIS system but realized you still need a computer so it is growing arms
