When i bought it it had a checker plate deck riveted on the bottom sides and tailgate.
i was a bit worried what the original deck was like so pulled it off to find a pretty mint condition
deck. sorry for the average photos

so splashed out and bought these wheels for the ute 13x8 SSR mk 3 - 12 offset all round. going to need a bit of guard work to be legal but sounds like the flare only has to cover the tread of the tire. so what tyres are you guys running on 8 inch rims? looks like the cert guys want a minimum of 215s for that width but think that chart they have is just a guide. i would like some more stretch to save on the guard work as well. the tires in the post are 215s

love it
wheels are going to look perfect, I would go with a 175/50r13 . I have some on 13x7.5s and have no noticeable stretch but on 8s they will have a nice stretch but wont be legal for certification. Those 215/50s are a bastard to find now.

Before i can fit the new wheels i got to get the flares done and that can't be done till i get it low so pulled leaves out to be reset but Kernohan engineering in nelson aint doing it anymore so my leaves are down to bellamy and east in shake town for a new top leaf with flipped eyes, old top leaf cut and added to the pack for stiffness and reset 3 inches down.
Probably just gonna go with shortened front shocks and low springs in the front for now so i don't need cert until i can sort out a coil-over kit and new shocks. Any ideas on the fronts as far as coilover kits and which shocks to go would be mint

Cert it on some narrow wheels with 175 50 13s then put your mk3s on after cert with 175 50s.

Yokohamas A539. Pretty popular if you google them. Awesome tyre and look sweet.
I got them reasonably cheap , Around 150 each.

Don't really know any history about it at all. It does have the heavy black under seal that i think the lendich utes had?
Does anyone know how many lendich utes there were?
