so unless he happens to have one kicking around haha, I might just get one without a G and stamp it in from of the B.

Sounds crazy, but I did see a picture of an American lb110 where the L was stamped in front.

If it has no "G" it might be a SWB ute. They're very common in Aussie, but not so much so here.
