Cheers Wal, but I am committed to seeing it done here.

And besides I dont want anything to get in the way of you finishing the 2 door! ;)

I am frustrated now, but my patience will be rewarded, the coupe is going to be fkn mint when its done....

So called in to see progress today...

Doors are all but finished, just need to block back top halves
took scores of hours to get right but it will be perfect in the end I hope

One guard is done and other one is well underway.
Took a lot of reshaping and cutting to get flaring to clear wheels and match the rear.
lost probably 40mm from in front of wheel to clear wheels @ full lock due to camber,
castor and wheel size

Hope to have it all back together and in final prime in next week.

Told the boys I want it home in school holidays, which I think is end of this month.
they are going to try to work to that, but will not get my hopes up yet.
They dont do quick jobs, and they dont do rough jobs, nor as a result is it a cheap job!

Seeing the likes of Chris's 510 in final assembly stage gets me all fizzed up, thinking I will be doing that myself soon!

dropped in on the boys this afternoon. starting to resemble a car again.
just some final tidy up work and last few fussy mod's to left door and front flares to ensure perfect body lines maintained.
panel gaps are nigh on perfect :D

should be back in lush original red in a fortnight or so all going well
