yeah, but I have issue with the gloss level on the hard shell plastic panels, they look too glossy compared to the vinyl work.... thinking I remove it all again and paint them matt black.....

yeah they were - the plastic is glossy, vinyl is naturally a duller look.

Hoping to have car ready for cert inspection Late January/Early February

Going away for pretty much my whole xmas break - so not much going to happen between now and after new years

cheers boys.

think i may make it simple, and bolt the 240z seats in fixed position.
I have put adaptor angles across factory mount points, which align perfectly with the Z seat mount holes
and it seems to be right place sitting wise.
that way I can just fit M8x80 bolts with packer tubes at right length to suit bolted thru these angles

i can always retrofit sliders later, but its just a hassle I can do without right now. I reckon another couple of nights work and I will have interior completed

I thought for cert/warrant the seats needed forward/back adjustability?

Nah its all good - I checked this out a couple of years back when I first mocked up Z seats

2.3(4) A seat retro-fitted to a low volume vehicle for the use of the driver is not required to be provided with adjustment in the longitudinal direction, however, must in all cases be positioned in such a way as to enable the vehicle to be safely operated by a person within the average range of height and stature.

Have you got factory 1200 adjustable rails?
Ive designed an adapter cradle setup that bolts to the 1200 rails that would suit your 240z seats as my seats are apparently early 280zx turbo seats, definitely not 240z seats.
