Geez mate! That's unlucky! Are you on Oldschool? I know a fella on there that knows of a few ol 410's lying around in paddocks that you could use some parts off?

There are a few still out there for parts so don't give up on it. I'd just hit up people on trademe selling them, as quite a few people seem to have parts cars (I believe the one on trademe recently has a parts car).

Unlucky. Love this car. All the best and hopefully you have better luck finding the parts!
My orangatang 510 here.
Re: New daily whip. 1966 410 bluebird.
Not on old school.. should probably get my act together and get on it.. Ive managed to find a screen and bonnet. I need a front right hand guard and boot lid most desperately.. oh and wiper mechanisms (got new wipers).
Since its in this state I've decided to do the inside while its at my mates panel shop as it was getting a bit ragged.. So i stripped out the whole interior, which aint too much.. got rid of all of the old hemp sound deadening and ground the whole floor pan back to bare metal. There was a bit of rust on the floor so i got rid of all that, there was also some in the driver sill which ill have to probably cut out and patch. The spot welds which mate the floor pan to the chassis are sort of falling away from corrosion so ill have to figure out a way to seal that properly as the door seal sits on it and if i don't do something it will just get worse.. any ideas welcome. Sooo now I've covered the floor in POR15 which I've used on lots of other stuff and its fairly gnarly and holds up to just about anything, should hold up for a fair few years to come.. Made a new parcel tray yesterday and will probably do the two kick panels tomorrow..
Who's the guy with the 410's lying around?
Ive talked to the guy in Te Puke however it seems he doesn't want me down there to get parts off the spare car, he said he'd send them but he never replies to my emails and when i call him he says he will call back with a price but never does..
Don't worry, ill get it back on the road. Love this little thing.

Good stuff dude! Mr.Mk1 knows of a parts car somewhere, he's on oldschool. Seemed like a helpful dude!
