Good to hear dude!
It's not actually that far either. My dad lives out that way. So I could take a car to his, before hand, and then it's make the trip to his a short one.

Re: LVV Certification - new certifier in Canterbury
That is great news I can't wait to get to cert stage!
Re: LVV Certification - new certifier in Canterbury
Iv heard he cant certify much though? Like only the very basic things like factory bolt in engines, cant do adjustable suspension etc?
Re: LVV Certification - new certifier in Canterbury
No he can do adjustable suspension. He has certed my car with coilovers.
Re: LVV Certification - new certifier in Canterbury
sweet how low does he cert things?
Re: LVV Certification - new certifier in Canterbury
Like all certifiers there is no set number for ride height, it is a matter of bump stop travel / rubbing etc.
My car was low enough for it to just scrape getting on and off his hoist, however he said it was fine.

Re: LVV Certification - new certifier in Canterbury
Just a little update on this, while I was getting my cert plate today Ian mentioned that at some point this year that he plans on doing certs full time (as opposed to part time along with general mech repairs he does now) at a new location in town.
Thus it'll soon be easy to go see him for general cert advice / make bookings etc.
