James

I nearly bought 1600 screen rubbers while in Australia. I learned the Australian cars had rubbers and chrome trim as part of their local content. The style is more like Holdens of that era. Unfortunately most of what is available is to suit the Australian spec. They imported 1600's fully assembled in 1968 so refer to our style of rubbers as 68 ones. If buying from an Australian supplier your best bet is to ask for 68 ones. My project has been on hold while the house takes priority but I watch with interest to find a good supplier.

Good luck and please report your results.

I bought mine from Datsport (located in Perth, http://www.datsport.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and it fits the factory window chrome fine.

Took some close ups. The chrome sits inside the rubber.
