No not a lot at all.
wasn't a cheap exercise ($625) but the guy was thorough, and him & his wife were very nice to deal with.
She was worried I would be upset with the items to sort, after she realised what a comprehensive build I had undertaken,
I told her I was more than happy - as they are all easy fixes, and I knew about everything anyway.
(When you spend 8 years ground up rebuilding, you get to know when things dont work, or have not been done 100%)
At the end of the day, there are a number of modified items, that they could have taken issue with, ie;
> Sports steering wheel & different seats & mounts
> new seatbelts throughout (new rear lap belts, had none originally)
> Different gearbox & custom drive shaft, hoop & x-member mount
> Diff upgrade to H165 with custom panhard rod
> repower to A14 with flows & exhaust
> comprehensive fuel injection system, new fuel lines
> Fuel surge tank & new fuel pumps & ITB's
> Customized electrical work, relocated battery etc
> Upgraded sway bar, castor rods & Lower control arms
> new ball joints & steering linkages
> Shortened shocks with welded on coil over sleeve kit
> Camber plates & 30mm Roll centre adjusters
> Reset rear leaf springs & blocks
> S13 brake upgrade, braided lines, adaptor plates etc
> Wheel upgrade & tyre width / profile
> Camber & ride height etc well different from OEM
All in all I am greatly relieved - I will get this last round of car racing out of the way this weekend,
then can focus on sorting out the datto & getting it legit, I will put it up on stands and deal to the issues in next few weeks.
I want it all road legal for my sons birthday mid June, so we can go have a beer (& coke) together somewhere; I have about 7-8 weeks to finish it off - which is achievable
My biggest concern is sorting out my electrical problems!
My charge circuit is not working & compound that with a major voltage drain, its a drama.
I wont be able to drive car till its sorted! ie it was full charge when it went out to cert guy,
and was flat when I got home and had to push it off the trailer! I have rewired it all myself
and have obviously done something wrong.... might need an auto sparky to go over it.

Congratulations on the small easy to sort list
At the end of the day having a list is a good thing to work towards. Its nice to know what you have to do rather than going into the cert with no idea on how it would turn out.

There might be a lot of mods as you say, that they could take issue with, however the calibre of your workmanship , and attention to detail is beyond reproach, its a credit to you, and would be obvious to the cert people that the jobs were all done to a very high standard. well done.

Wow. That's not bad at all. I have a switch and boss you can have a loan of. My 1200 is off the road. So if you want to borrow them so you can get sorted till you can source your own, not a problem. All the best for the racing. Txt me if you want me to bring the parts out to the track.

Can you let me know how you get on with your speedo and where you manage to get your replacement cog from as I need to do my ute some time. It was never picked up at cert and WOFs are fine but I would like to have it accurate.

I made up & fitted 20mm solid alloy lowering blocks
Came out nice - but gutted with the 20mm of ride height difference
Although will wait and see car back on ground before final opinion.
Thanks to Simon Mather for a head light switch & alternator.
Horn fixed also
Only two things left to do for cert are front bump stops (on order)
and speedo calibration (awaiting pinion gear to arrive from Brendon)

Woo hoo road test tonight was successful
Headlights working on low & high
Front bump stops installed
New speedo pinion installed (thanks heaps MINT16) 20T would have been perfect, but 19T will hopefully do;
Its accurate at 30mph, but over reading by 8km/hr @ 100km/hr (hope that willl be OK; ie 70mph on speedo, should be 112 km/hr but its actually 104km/hr on GPS
Rear ride height still may be an issue, I can get index finger between bump stops & body only (ie 15mm; hope that is sufficient?)
Alternator now working too! yay, was not a wiring fault! (well kind of was - new 50A alternator was unplugged!)
Was fun driving it - man the induction is loud at full song!
