Which part did you break? I've got a few new pintle caps that might fit.

i wouldnt even know what its called sorry, the part that sits in the rubber seal is shattered

That's the pintle cap. I'll dig them out in the next couple of days and we can give it a go, there are a couple of different sizes of them.
