s13 brake pads

Post by Garth »

Hey team,

Anyone know the part # for the brake pads for the s13 calipers we are all using in our 1200s?

figure if i have the part number will make the trip to repco to get them a lot less painless

Cheers,

Dont think i should be helping with the use of the dirty "R" word. :D :D

I think youll find they are either DB1117 or DB1187

If you come to BNT i would be getting DB----GCT - Bendix pads, great high quality pad - ive used them on the track in the 120Y aswell and had no fade (although not running the power you will have)

Use this as a starter - Heavy duty's will start to eat rotors quickly - but after you have run it for a while and find you are still running out of brakes, we can rebond them (keep your old ones) with a street/track material.

The two pics below should help in working out what you have - if you guys didnt wanna run crazy small wheels i could have done some slotted 280mm fronts for ya lol

hope this helps

I think this should be copy and pasted into tech section, plenty of us have this conversion.

Cheers Brocky! I'll come in and see you next Tuesday instead then if that suits? Haha

Small wheels are the way to go ;) especially if you want to have endless troubles trying to make anything fit under them
