Hey
I was hoping to get some advice on my twin dhla 40 dellorto carbs fitted to my bored out a12 engine.
My carbs are dhla40N series.
Basically the main thing I wish to know is in regards to the balancing air bleed screws. I found each of mine under a silver cap which was easily drill and pride out.
However none would turn. I investigated further and found a hole on the side of each with what I belive was an anti tamper solder melted into it. After getting what I could out I still had no luck turning them.
Have you struck this before and found a way around it.
I have made my own manometer and found the two center carb ports vacuums quite a lot higher the the outer two. I can almost stabilise them using the center balance linkage adjuster but still not enough for my liking. And my idle is still a bit shaky.
Well thanks for your help.
Mat
I'll attach a file with a photo of my ports for what it's worth.

Thanks turns out I've sold this car now. Doesn't mean I'll have some more later on.
