Just wondering your thoughts?
Are forums a dying Media with people moving towards Facebook groups?
For me i cannot stand the spam that is Facebook.
Seems every 2nd question seems to be the same and something i did want to look up from yesterday is gone to the bottom of the trash pile.
Dunno, Maybe i am oldhat.
But i prefer being able to look for something that was posted a month ago.
Read up on past projects the such....
Just a quick ramble from me

Re: Are Forums a dying media
They are but 95% time on Facebook groups is people selling crappy shit and idiots. I think Forums are a good way to weed out the time wasters
Re: Are Forums a dying media
Seems like the facebook groups are where the actual discussion takes place nowadays, while all the build threads and technical data lurks on the forums.

I think that the forums still have their place with still being able to retain information from old threads and are a great searching tool also.
Definitley weeds out the dickheads also. A lot more bragging and overly opinionated people who create arguements.

Re: Are Forums a dying media
Peoples on line time is being swallowed up more by the book of faces. So people do have a bit less time to spend on forums. I sold parts to a new guy on here recently, and he commented that he was surprised this forum was still going, as so many have died out.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

Re: Are Forums a dying media
I think forums are a great tool for asking question's about cars and people wanting to help others as its more local , On Fb i follow alot of car pages and what people ask and others say is always a great source of laughter. But really some people have no idea on what they are talking about.
