Finally tackled down a 620, that needs a small amount work, mainly just finding missing parts etc...
So where is the best place to get new parts? I'm after new 1/4 window seals and weather strips for the windows.
Also does anyone have a spare chrome trim piece that goes on the front of the bonnet?
Will add more pictures when I pick the 620 up.
Cheers

Re: Datsun 620 Parts Needed
There is a shitload of brand new parts for 620's on ebay.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............
Re: Datsun 620 Parts Needed
yeah been taking a look for the last 1hr, slowly compiling a list as we speak haha. Still struggling to find the chrome trim piece for the bonnet though
Re: Datsun 620 Parts Needed
Hey cool ute, i used to own it. The trim you speak of isn't chrome its just a painted steel moulding. The bonnets are notorious for rusting out on the leading edge, usually rusting the trim out with them. Try horopito motors, possibly have one there.

I may have a damaged one that could be repairable. (It would be free)

Hey Rob, oh funny that haha it is a pretty cool ute, I cant wait to get it back to Wellington and start tidying it up. I will check out horopito motors. Thanks for the help

Cheers Bart will keep that in mind.. on another note do you have a tidy dash that you would like to sell?
Re: Datsun 620 Parts Needed
The 620s at Horopito don't have them. Just checked my photos from the club visit last year.JOKERR wrote:Hey Rob, oh funny that haha it is a pretty cool ute, I cant wait to get it back to Wellington and start tidying it up. I will check out horopito motors. Thanks for the help
Re: Datsun 620 Parts Needed
Could still be worth a call incase they have a loose bonnet in a shed somewhere? that piece of trim is quite hard to find.
Re: Datsun 620 Parts Needed
Absolutely, no harm in asking. Ebay has a lot of stuff as mentioned already I think, particularly Thailand for 620 and 720 bits and pieces. They seem to go nuts for them.
