The carb to supercharger plate is already drilled and tapped 1/8 npt for a single fogger nozzle.blitzballa wrote:Still looking at the potential for NOS for the SC though.
I got very close to spraying it, but I burned a piston not long before I was going to, and decided I was getting over building new engines.

I meant to ask you as well Bart what sort of mods you made to your A15? Taking mine round to my bald mechanic and he was interested to know.Bartman wrote:The carb to supercharger plate is already drilled and tapped 1/8 npt for a single fogger nozzle.blitzballa wrote:Still looking at the potential for NOS for the SC though.

Conrods were polished, balanced, shot peened, ARP rod bolts fitted. (Small ends opened up to 20mm)
Crank shaft had the oil galleries enlarged a wee bit, (As per 1972 nissan rally prep guide)
Custom made oil pump utilising L series pump gears.
Flywheel was doweled on to the crank
Pistons were HPC coated. (I think they were Mazda E5(?) pistons)
Big cam
cylinder head had L20B 42mm inlet valves, with manly lash caps.
dual valve springs
rocker shaft springs were replaced with bushes
polished rocker arms
ported ports.
And probably a bunch of other shit I can't remember too.

Re: blitzballas pit of money and happiness (Sunny Coupe)
Thanks for that Bart will be very handy info to have!!! Finally fully stripped the car so its on axle stands atm. Couldn't find anyone with a rotisserie for sale so decided to not be lazy and finally build mine. Have had the designs for a while but just been too lazy to do anything. And finally treated myself to some wheels today!!!Bartman wrote:Conrods were polished, balanced, shot peened, ARP rod bolts fitted. (Small ends opened up to 20mm)

The are Hoshino Impuls Pro Spokes 15" and 6.5" wide with +5 offset. Will have to take them in to Royce Clive to get drool worthy but definitely think they will look the part. Almost tempted to whip my suspension back on just to see what they look like!!
Some photos for you guys also:

Re: blitzballas pit of money and happiness (Sunny Coupe)
Have been pretty busy this week getting my rotisserie finished off finally!
Mounting them in the rear bumper mount hole and the front mounting member. Still have to make my chassis trolley which I am going to use to transport the shell on the transporter but that shouldn't take me long. All up I think the trolley and the rotisserie will have cost me $300 so not too bad (even if I am only using it for a week or two).
Also picked up an H165 diff with factory B310 mounts for a three link which was an awesome score! (Thanks Jesse). Bit of work cleaning it up though and will have to get new hardlines made but nothing too major. Still have a spare H165 leaf sprung diff going cheap if anyone is interested.
In any case will hopefully have the car looking nice and painted in the next few weeks! Definitely aiming to get it road legal by Akaroa. Watch this space!

That leaf sprung one sounds interesting. Paul is after an axle, do you know what it is out of?
