I dunno man, offset + bushes + adjustable crossmember + polyurethane probably = massive amount of bolt misalignment and arms that barely can be moved...

From what Greg was saying the other day the main issue is that something's still rubbing. If that's still happening then all this could be for nothing.

Maybe take the spring and shock out of one side and move it all up and down with a wheel on to see where it's rubbing this weekend Greg?

Greg I have to take my hat of to you you just keep on trying.You can do your alignment at home all our race cars are dune with string it is so accrete when you now how. I would be happy to show you how and have a look at your other problems .

Thanks for the kind/wise words gman! I would very much like to get a second opinion and advice on how to sort this out! I had thought of that as well Bart, couldn't track anything down through work although I didn't look super hard. But I agree with what John says above. I'll whip a spring out and jack up the arm to see where the wheel is hitting.

Gman came round this afternoon and we discussed ways on how to solve my issue. Raising the rear end is the easiest way and also really need stiffer springs in the back too. We also talked about raising the diff so that the cv shafts won't be on such an angle, possibly why the outer cv boot on the drivers side keeps popping off. I also took a spring out and jacked the arm up as far as it would go and it's definitely not the tyres/wheels hitting! I could turn the wheel fully with no rubbing whatsoever and the rim was tucked up pretty high in the guards. It would appear the it's the outer cv joint hitting part of the body which would explain the "knock" or "thud" sound I can hear when the rear squats down after giving it the boot. Gman has recommended I go to Bellamy and East to get new rear springs made that will be far stiffer (and also longer) than what I have currently thus meaning a) decreasing the amount of camber and b) no more hitting on the body! Easy right!?

I did take a photo of how close the cv joint is to part of the body but it came out blurry and I did realise til now haha.
Also might try and track down some second hand factory height springs too

The companion flange is what hits on the floor on my car, running 12Kg springs helped. So what are the springs you have at the moment? Lows for a B?

I couldn't see any sine of any hitting of cvs on the body but the cv joints are on such an angel that they could be binding and making the noise?

Current springs are just lows for 180B off the shelf type. Gman I'll take a better photo something is definitely hitting as there a marks on both sides of the body where something has hit. Stiffer springs will definitely help! Forgot to take a spring to work today to take down to Bellamy and East will try remember tomorrow

Where exactly are these marks on the body - above the CV joint?

It's not something silly like the exhaust hitting is it?
