who spends money on them? I've never paid to have one made yet! The old mans lathe is only just long enough to shorten them in.

Hey, I tried using a combination 1600 and sr uj and the bearing types or diamtre were different. I wanted to use the yoke shield that stops shit getting into the end of the gearbox. We took out all the needle bearings and then tried re-assembling but the diams were slightly different or something. Cant remember exactly but ended up getting circle track to just sort it out. It ended up being pretty reasonable.

Yeah for some fucked up reason they used both 25.4mm, (Inch) and 25mm. I once reamed out the eyes from 25, to 25.4. But the diamention accross the cross was a whisker smaller. And it turned to shit.
