Wanted under $1000
Wanted under $1000
Hey know I'm dreaming but is there any running datsuns for sale under $1000 closer to new plymouth the better.
Re: Wanted under $1000
The nineties ended quite some time ago. Running and road legal with a datsun badge you'd prob start around 4k, although there has been a few bargains pop up from time to time in the Sth island.

Ahh the nineties. I remember them well.R3spct wrote:The nineties ended quite some time ago.
Actually not that well...
But I do remember buying a set of dellortos on an oval port manifold for $300, that came with a free 1200 coupe...

Yeah , a time machine back to the 90s would be epic , bought a 120y sss for $500 back in the day. And a nice 1200 could be had for $1000.00

Re: Wanted under $1000
Hello there, not sure what sort of vehicle you are after but on occasion there has been C20 vans come on trademe in the $1000 to $2000 range, they seem to fly under the radar a bit more than the 70's and 80's cars but still have a sweet A series drivetrain. Perhaps something like an early Sentra/pulsar/Langley type of body could work for, think they came out as Datsun cherry in Australia, maybe import the round light front and badges when you can and make something completely different. I'm sure there are options out there if you want a cheap datsun if you look outside the box and are prepared to wait. Again not sure what your situation is but if you are not able to spend a lot on a car try and avoid the rusty one day project, they are the ones that will cost you the most in the end. Best of luck finding what you are after.
