Small update , the brake issue has been resolved , turns out the circlip holding the plunger had come out , letting the plunger fall out and the fluid followed , a close inspection also revelled a small tear in the seal, so that's been replaced as well.
I have planed the manifold where it mates to the head ,and reassembled the manifold and turbo etc with GASKETS, so hopefully it's all back together for the last time. Hope to start it this weekend , and may get to drive to the servo and back , oh and got this hard to find last piece of the puzzle, which was holding me back from doing stuff.

Update...... well the car is running again , and really well, which is great , there is no exhaust leak and it's making boost again .
However the brakes are still giving me issues , when I bought the new seal from bnt it was the same diameter as the old one but it was thicker , I was assured this would not be an issue but it is , after assembling everything and bleeding the rear brakes I discovered I couldn't bleed the fronts , I couldn't even get fluid out of the master cylinder with the vacuum bleeder , simply because on close inspection the new seal covers the hole that the fluid is supposed to drain down from, pretty pissed off to be honest. I will try butler's or safe r brakes this week , and see if I can get better service from them.
At least I get to hear it run again.

Hey , I'm back with good news I think , so far the brakes are working again , thanks stanmore road auto spares for the proper seal kit.
I'm really quite close to driving to the servo for gas.

Well done Wwal. Sometimes it is the little disappointments that can grind things to a halt. Great to see you have pushed on.
I'd be keen to come see this running today and what else is going on in the shed. You about today?
