Got back on the road just in time for this mornings Datsun breakfast. Fresh wof and fitted some new rubber, now on 205/45's which gives me good clearance on full lock.

One can never have too many spare L engines lying around "just in case".
Looks good Hamish!

Re: Farm Fresh 620
So it occured to me the night before this months breakfast meet that i still had a pair of Recaro's tucked away in storage since about 2005 to one day go in my 1200, and Since sooner or later im going to need to remove the bench seat in the ute when the 5 speed goes in i thought i may aswell put them to use.
They originaly came out of an Isuzu bighorn so had seat riser frames under them which actually turned out to make the install super quick.
Although the 620 is fitted with a bench seat it still has mounting holes on each side of the tunnel, i just made a couple of quick bolt plates for the factory floor holes.

Nice and tidy job there. And hey, you just freed up some storage space too by fitting those!
