Have been doing a little research and thought it might interest some people.
There are currently 44 registered Datsun 180B's in NZ.
5 of them are station wagons
3 of them are sports cars. (Coupes?)
36 are saloons(4 door?)
So. Add my SSS coupe into the mix it means there could be as few as 4 coupe's in NZ.
Question. Does this ring true to you all? Or do you know of more that exist round the place?

Re: 180B
Go on line to the nzta website and thread your way through to stats and you find info relating to cars registered in each year and one file with all registered cars. This is a very large excel file that you can use the sort functions to narrow your search.

Re: 180B
Well it seems what we have is definite evidence of at least 7 Drivable 610 coupes but potentially could be more out there.
Can't really think of any other avenues to find out a more accurate figure. I believe I will go with 10. I've always liked the number 10. incidentally I am off to see a bloke who has a Couple of Datsun body parts. He has a chrome Datsun bumper like the ones off a 1200. Straight with no indentations. He thinks it's off a 180B which it could be as the very late ones (1979) did once the number plate moved up off the bumper. And a rear panel which after scrolling through tons of photos looks like classic 180B light orientation but with a much plainer lower section. As it is quite different to mine My thoughts are this is also off a late model 180B. Anybody interested????

Re: 180B
The web site also says cars with confidential addresses are not listed, also written off cars with plates on hold will also be listed. A very worthwhile guide but not 100% accurate. My cars are all listed but none of my 3 x 510 sss's are shown as sss. Pleased to see there are more 710's shown than I thought there may be.

Re: 180B
Ive got one. The rego has Datsun 180b Coupe S written on it. There was 4 turn up for the 2015 labour day Taupo. Maybe list the people with them to get proper numbers? Theres probably the same number in parts too.
