Before
After
This has been a long drawn out job, only in my spare time. Will be loosing this workshop soon so needed to get the paint on it before winter.
Bought a Iwata gun for the final coat, instead of the $150 gun i used for the primer. Just didnt want the risk of it going on bad, glad i did, but prob could have done ok with the cheap gun too.
Now it turns into a assembly job, which is going to be prob as much work as the panel and paint, in that its never really been assembled before, so its going to be like a jigsaw puzzle, without the box, and grey side up!

Just need to get my new workshop setup and keep assembling stuff, handy to finally be off the rotisserie.

Bringing this post back from the dead.
2 years ago bought a house, finally made the space and time to pick the car up from storage, and save me some outgoing money.
Have too many projects on the go still, but the plan is to put it on a dolly to make it easier to move around, or just castor frames under the wheels so it can be moved out to work on. All the running gear is only loosely bolted in and most needs to come out again for final refurb and fitup. Have boxes and boxes of parts to go through and see what I have and whats missing still.
