Plastic welded the chin spoiler back up after the incident with a rather large hare. Also got my new woodgrain racing steering wheel. Pretty chuffed with it!

Here are the specs and pics of my mods to Henry's (thats his name) drive train. Hopefully they can be useful to any one else wanting to upgrade. Feel free to ask questions

The drive shaft is a shortened standard one, but will be swapping t out for a thicker ute one which I have at home. As the Diff is a Toyota T series, so that a limited slip ae86 centre can go into it once I find one, it had to be sortened in order for an adapter to be made to allow it to connect to the dif. Much much lighter than a highlux dif.

Fibreglassed a Torana Boot spoiler to fit on him, looks mint! Good handeling too.

Finally got out of that wrangle with the NZTA, he's got a new Vin plate, and a low volume cert for all the running gear mods. And in addition he's got a new motor too. A12 bored to 1.3L running twin SU's and a Wade 240 grind cam.
Big bloody thanks to Bart and the rest of the society for doing some major paperwork and references, to help get the new Vin plate.

Nice work man, saw it the other day at John Old's. Even better news that it's all legal again!
