Just letting you know the happy outcome from talking to Nissan NZ. They have sourced a unit from Japan. Cost $131 including Gst. Expensive but better to know if you have oil pressure. eBay does have many options available for many other models at a cheaper price.

Fyi I have just fitted an LD28 oil pressure sender to my 180B with SSS gauges. I'm running a CA18DET and seem to be getting 45psi or there abouts haven't tested with another gauge but could be kinda accurate! Brand was fuelmiser part number is CPS140. Can get through Repco and Appco. I got mine before I left working at Appco so wasn't too expensive but they weren't that cheap otherwise I think. If I was you I'd try your local Appco unless you have a real good trade person at your local Repco as I can see them saying "nup too hard don't have one etc"
